I am very interested in weight loss and the powerful effect food can have on how we look and feel. I want to help you achieve the healthy weight you desire and deserve.
Here’s a little bit about me and how I came to be so interested in Weight Loss and Nutrition….
I have experienced first-hand the consequences of eating and living with no regard for my health. In my 20’s I had a very busy job and a busy social life to match. With no time (or interest, if I’m honest) to cook, I fuelled myself with whatever was easiest – restaurants, takeaways, pre-prepared supermarket food, snack food, sugary drinks, chocolate….you get the idea. Well, you can imagine the results – tiredness, moodiness, irritability, difficulties concentrating & not forgetting weight gain!
So began a longstanding interest in Nutrition. I have been studying whilst raising a young family. Lots of late nights and early mornings reading and doing course work when the children were in bed would have been impossible if I had not been eating well.
But there is more to good health then just eating well, which is why I furthered my studies with the Institute of Optimum Nutrition (IIN). Good health comes from taking care of lots of different aspects of your life – your social connections, your career, your exercise habits and lots more. Getting your weight on track often requires these other areas of your life to be addressed.
